Klickbee Tracking Help

Dashboard tour

What each section of the Klickbee Tracking dashboard shows, which question it answers, and what is Pro only.

The dashboard lives at tracking.klickbee.com. The sidebar on the left groups everything by the question you are trying to answer. On mobile, the same menu opens from the hamburger button.

At the top of the sidebar, the project switcher changes the site you are looking at. At the bottom you find your email and Sign out.

The time range

Almost every page has a range switcher with four options: 24h, 7 days, 30 days and 90 days. The default is 7 days (the Live events page defaults to 24h). There is no custom date range.

Overview

Overview is the page you land on after signing in. Under "At a glance" you get four cards (Pageviews, Events, Sessions, Visitors), a Trend chart, and two top-10 lists: Top pages and Top events.

If a site has not sent anything yet, you see "No data yet" and an Install the SDK button. See Install the tracker.

Some events you did not create

Top events can include events starting with $ (such as $scroll). These are sent by the tracker itself, not by your code. See Track events.

Visitors

  • Live: who is on your site right now (active in the last 5 minutes). You get a visitor counter, On site now, Top page, Top location, Countries, a world map ("Where they are") and a Live feed. It updates by itself and pauses when the tab is in the background.
  • Sessions: every visit, with filters, a frustration badge and a detail page for each session. See Sessions and heatmaps.
  • Acquisition: "Where your traffic comes from." See below.

Acquisition

The page shows Channels (a chart and a table with Sessions, Visitors, Avg pages and Share) and top-10 lists for Top sources, Top mediums, Social networks, Top campaigns, Top terms and Top content.

Channels are Direct, Organic Search, Paid, Email, Social and Referral. Klickbee decides the channel from the utm_medium of the landing URL first, then from the referrer, and finally from any utm_source or utm_campaign. Ad click ids (gclid, fbclid, msclkid) with no UTM tags are counted as Paid.

Attribution is first touch for each session: a session is credited to the UTM tags and referrer of the page it landed on, even if the visitor then navigates inside your site and the tags disappear from the URL.

Behavior

  • Heatmaps: where visitors click, how far they scroll, and where they spend time. See Sessions and heatmaps.
  • Funnels: three tabs, Funnels, Retention and Paths. See Funnels, paths and retention.
  • Live events: a feed of captured events with filters (all, pageview, track, identify, autocapture) and a Go live toggle. The table shows Time, Type, Name / Path and Visitor.

Optimize

  • Goals: define the conversions that matter and see how many sessions completed each. See Goals.
  • Experiments: "A/B Experiments", with three tabs.
    • Variant test: compare variants you log from your code with experiment() against a goal. A winner is only called when the result is statistically significant (p < 0.05) and there are at least 30 exposures per variant.
    • Page A/B: compare two landing pages against a goal, with conversion rate, uplift, bounce and scroll depth. You can save a comparison with Save to archive.
    • Archive: saved A/B tests, with frozen results.
  • Pixels: ad pixels and server-side conversion connections. See Ad pixels and Conversions.

Settings

Settings has four pages:

  • Projects: rename a site, copy or rotate the public key, set allowed origins, get the install snippet and check the install status.
  • Team: invite people and set their role. See Invite your team.
  • Connections: connect Claude (or another assistant) and review what it changed. See Connect Claude.
  • Billing: your plan and subscription for the active site. See Billing.

Free sites: the usage banner

On a Free site, a banner at the top of every page shows how many sessions you have used this month ("X / 1,000 sessions this month") and when the counter resets, with an Upgrade to Pro button.
